Surely most important thing to grasp about Talmud and Talmudism is it demonstrates the essence of Pharisaist "Oral Law Tradition," and "midrash" (interpretation). Christ referred to this "tradition" several times at Chapt. 7, Gosp. MARK, among other places, and it means the Torah Law (1st 5 books of Old Test.) is to be "interpreted" and understood according to this "tradition"--Talmud then is the written-out (500 AD, in Babylon) demonstration of this "midrash" process.
In other words, note Torah, and indeed, all reality, is nothing but what Rabbis (and other "leaders") say. Thus the world is understood to be SUBJECTIVE, a product/creation of mentality/consciousness--leading then to extreme version, rendering outright Satanism, making the subject to be God, the creator--Satanism by definition. Jews then practice simply a COLLECTIVIST subjectivism, a "group-think," making them most effective, successful, leading, and dominating of subjectivists/Satanists, even though they're out-numbered by more isolated gentile subjectivists/satanists.
And this subjectivism ("midrash") is in contrast to Christ = TRUTH, Gosp. JOHN 14:6, necessarily implying the strict OBJECTIVE understanding of reality--hence determinism, absolute cause-effect, there being NO perfectly "free" will, all humans being sinners, creatures of will, and hence necessarily self-interested.
So thou see, this "midrash" process/method is the very essence of Talmud/Talmudism, and the particulars then are mere demonstrations: (a) the war against gentiles, (b) the tactic of lies and lying, including the infamous "Kol Nidre" prayer which absolves them beforehand of the lies they tell later; (c) the slanders against gentiles and Christ, saying Christ was rightfully executed for blasphemy and heresy (affirmed in Christian New Test., don't forget), that Mother of Christ was harlot who spawned Christ by Roman Centurion named "Panthera," etc.
Note in subjective reality there's no lies and no truth--reality is merely what one wants and desires. So the Talmudist lies freely without guilt, always applauded by their buddies and cohorts--they're ultimately INSANE and psychotic, incapable of grasping what they do, passing off the consequent hatred of gentiles as mere jealousy, etc.
Note also, Jews of race, pretending they're not "religious," go along w. the Talmudic lying, pretending there are "good" Jews, who don't follow the Talmud, but these dupes not really grasping what the Talmud really teaches, esp. for the subjectivistic principle which denies truth or lies, pretending it's all the same and meaningless.
Hence one sees there COULD NOT be "good" Jews, anymore than there are good psychopaths, for psychotics are what Jews ultimately really are, and pathology is what Judaism is--monsters and monstrosities. And no decent person calls himself "Jew"--anymore than they'd admit they were psychopaths. Such is the sublimity and frustration of dealing w. the Jew issue and "question."

Absolutely not. In my own case, when I first learned of it, it helped confirm my suspicions. The old testament is considered by many as “stuff that happened thousands of years ago” and therefore not applicable to the world today.
At least knowing about the Talmud helps people see that nothing has changed and that crackpots are real, and extant.

No “just” about it. Highlighting such as that seems to be an advantage, not a flaw.
The Scofield Zionist Christians have only the Old Testament…
Maybe if some became aware of the Talmud instead of only the OT, some would see the light.
