Good gravy, but Christianity is powerful PRECISELY because of the (simple) philosophy embedded within religion, aesthetic, literature....

Christianity Is Philosophy Within Religion, Aesthetics, Literature, Never Forget
(Apollonian, 2 Feb 19)

"But talk of values will never suffice. Christianity is not a series of ideas."

What? Thou just lies and babbles poppy-cock. Christ = TRUTH (Gosp. JOHN 14:6), and it stands against satanic/Jew lies, lying, and liars (JOHN 8:44). Thus such TRUTH (= Christ) necessarily implies the OBJECTIVE (Aristotelian) reality, which is determined, according to absolute cause-effect (no perfectly "free" will), and the CYCLIC course of hist., in accord w. Spengler's "Decline of the West."

FM above (implicit) Christian metaphysics follow all Christian ethics, in perfect logic, which ethics are what people learn about fm New Test., and most fall in love with, though most people not grasping the metaphysics.

The rest of thy babbling,
"Christianity is a life, held precious as received from God and lived as belonging to God. From this conscience of the supernatural arise healthy institutions that conform to human nature, and societies where a correct understanding of liberty permits human thriving."
is all mere platitudes which thou fails to support w. citations fm the New Test. text.

"[H]ealthy institutions" do NOT "arise" FM "conscience of . . . supernatural," though maybe it might serve as inspiration--but such "institutions" are built by means of hard, difficult work, through much trial and error, and they only succeed according to circumstances, ALWAYS eventually corrupting and collapsing--but perhaps arising once again, sometimes.

"[H]uman nature"?--is quite sinful and corrupt, never forget, even in best of times. And a "correct understanding of liberty"?--is something quite precious and evanescent, believe me, as one who has observed plain history of original American "principles" becoming ignored and deliberately mis-construed by corrupt judges and lawyers, among others. "[H]uman thriving"?--ho ho hoh oho--we all wish and pray for that, don't we?

Thus "Europe" began w. Greek rationalism and continued w. Christianity, and which now faces great, horrific tribulations and grim fight for life against most determined Satanism (extreme subjectivism) featuring, for example, Agenda-21 and -2030 GENOCIDE. God help us, amen.

Ah! Yes, the old question: what holds a community together? Approached in another fashion: what is Europe?

But talk of values will never suffice. Christianity is not a series of ideas. Christianity is a life, held precious as received from God and lived as belonging to God. From this conscience of the supernatural arise healthy institutions that conform to human nature, and societies where a correct understanding of liberty permits human thriving.

A life all about the pursuit of pleasure, and the flight from suffering, does not children beget!
